Volunteer at St. Agatha

The Fair Share Hours Program (FSH) has been established in an effort to

• provide services and support to enrich our educational programs for our children.
• ensure these responsibilities are uniformly distributed and shared among the school families.
• offer families opportunities to enhance their interactions with other school parents, their children’s teachers, and friends.

Program Requirements
A two-parent household must contribute a total of 30 share hours. 
A single-parent household must contribute a total of 15 share hours. A single parent is defined as a sole-custodial parent.
Joint custodial is considered a two-parent household with a total of 30 share hours to fulfill.
Preschool families are required to contribute 15 share hours.

• Each hour volunteered counts as one share hour.
• Share hours must be completed and logged by April 30
• All uncompleted share hours will be billed at $25.00 per hour.

Volunteer Opportunities

All fully vaccinated individuals are welcome to volunteer at the school pending a cleared background check, CASE training, and proof of COVID vaccination.

• Classroom/school volunteering
• School fundraiser coordination (Jog-a-Thon, St. Patrick's Festival, etc.)
• School events (Grandparents Day, classroom parties, field trips)
• CYO (up to 5 hours allowed for parent volunteers at games. Coaches may claim up to 20 hours. Board members may claim up to 30 hours.)
• Parish Volunteering (up to 15 hours are allowed to count towards school share hours)
• Serving on a council or board
