Molly Williams-Stuckey is the Drama/Performing Arts and Art teacher. This is her third year in education and her third year at St. Agatha (although she has been directing for 17 years).
Her favorite thing about St. Agatha is the love and support the students show to each other. Ms. Stuckey enjoys the camaraderie and support amongst the school staff and she appreciates Catholic education. As the parent of a kindergartener, she is grateful that the focus of education is on students thriving in all areas of life and becoming the individuals they were created to become.
In Art, students have created many unique projects this year. Middle Ages projects featured scenes of jousting knights, royal playing cards, stained glass windows, Notre Dame at night, and Byzantine mosaic tile paintings. Ms. Stuckey loves to take a concept (such as color theory, patterns, or something more specific like the Middle Ages) and have each grade create a different project incorporating the elements of that concept.
In Drama/Performing Arts classes, each grade learns about different aspects of theater such as retelling stories, pantomime, tableau pictures, improvisation basics, conflict, and foundations of acting.
Ms. Stuckey's favorite Bible verse is from Deuteronomy 29:29- "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us."
